Auditory Steady State Evoked Responses
ASSR takes the guesswork out of audiometric evaluation
by providing accurate threshold detection using
statistical analysis, greatly reducing the potential for
human error.
SmartEP-ASSR features include:
- Dual ear stimulation and dual channel acquisition.
- Simultaneous multi-frequency testing.
- Test at the four main audiometric frequencies or create your own protocol.
- “Response” or “No Response” evaluation result for each frequency and intensity level tested
- Automatically generated estimated audiogram.
Research features include:
- User definable stimuli sets.
- Use modulated or transient stimuli.
- Programmable filters.
Research options may have restrictions for use on human subjects based on your location. Please contact us for additional details.

SmartTrOAE Application Notes
Acquiring Auditory Steady State Responses (ASSR)
This application note reviews the basic principles of acquiring transient evoked otoacoustic emissions. It also contains the standard recommended settings for acquiring TEOAE recordings using SmartTrOAE.
Exporting Data from SmartEP-ASSR
This application note shows the procedure for exporting acquired data from SmartEP-ASSR. The ASCII format exported data can be later imported and used in other programs such as Microsoft Excel or MATLAB. This document also applies to SmartEP and SmartTrOAE.
